A real tradgedy!!!

For those of you that from youth have depended on TIGER 11 as a reliable sorce for setting your clocks.... today is it's last day of service. As on November 1st if will no longer be available.

I want you all to know that this is really going to effect my life. It's the end of an era... and I'm saddened that I won't be able to pass this treasure onto my son when he comes of age.

Really though... THAT SUCKS!!

Indeed... thats truely sad.

So what is TIGER 11?

I have been alive for 49 years (a fact that I like to remind people often) and I have NEVER heard of TIGER11, tell me what it is so that I too can mourn it's passing..........

You just pick up your phone and dial:

T I G E R 1 1

and you too can know the amazing wonder that is soon to leave us.

Must be a city thing b/c everyone I knew growing up used it

Or you can look down at your cell phone and see the correct time before you call that #.

You will have to call and make a recording of the last day, could be worth big money.

I, too, know of Tiger11.... but I've never used it to set my clocks at DST. I always just look at the computer or the telephone since both have clocks with the correct time already on them.

So now we know why they are discontinuing it. Jesse was the onlly one that knew/used it!!

So are you saying its Jess's fault that they are shuting down cause she didn't inform anyone of the service they provide?
