| Did you know that if a cork is put into a glass of water, the cork will never stay in the centre of the glass but will invariably drift to the side? there is, however, a simple way to make the cork float, and remain, in the centre of the glass. What is it? | |

How exactly would that make the cork float in the middle? Keep trying

| perhaps if you stuck the neddle in the center of the cork. It would keep it balanced in the middle, right? | |

| Okay then, I would toss the liquid and hang the sucker from a string. Viola, it's floating in the middle of the glass. Or in the middle of the room, or the middle of the toilet, or the middle of my car...... You get the idea. Even if I'm wrong, I'm still right! | |

I thought of that too Jig, but Brian said that it would still have to "float." So my next suggestion would be too build a tiny little cork floating station inside the glass and then attach a little machine that would emit sound waves that would simutaneously bounce the waves off of the entire inside of the glass and thus hold the cork in the middle of the glass..... sheesh THAT was simple.....
