...and can spontaneously create itself (not re-create). I think that the point that Mr. Hawkicns was trying to make is that humans are inherently evil.... which we are.........computer virus's or not.

I would have to agree with Lynelle and AJ on this quote of Mr. Hawkins. The problem with the "sophisticated" programs man comes up with is that they lack free thought. The Lord made us free moral agents and a computer program does not have this option. It is a mere machine doing the bidding of the operator, therefore it will only function to the ability of a finite human mind, which is sinful in nature.
