I just wanted to let everyone know why we have our forum.

Meaning of a Discussion or Debate:
Debate or debating is a formal method of interactive and position representational argument. Informal debate is a common occurrence, but the quality and depth of a debate improves with knowledge and skill of its participants as debaters. - Wikipedia
Why we have our Forum:
We have our forum to allow family members to stay in touch with each other since we don't all live very close. We cover alot of different discussion areas from every day life, to upcoming family events, to current world events. ALL of our discussions are to follow the rules of informal debate in that as the quality and depth of a debate improves with knowledge and skill of its participants as debaters. If you are to particapate in a discussion you must be ready to defend your comments or beliefs that come out throughout the course of the debate. All Personal attacks on a single individual are not needed nor welcomed. If a disagreement is to accure between two seperate disagreeing sides, then only bring facts and situations to the discussion. If there is only one person on the side of a discussion, as long as facts and pertinent information are being used to debate the topic, then this is not to be considered a personal attack. All moderators of the site have the right to edit information if they deam it a violation to the code of our forum discussion rules.
We are here to provide stay in contact, good reading, an outlet for topic discussion, and to have an all around good time. Thanks to all that are involved and helping to keep this a fun and interesting forum.
