I'm hoping that after the kids are grown and gone I can get this job..........

We're ending this quiz with a bang! A neck skewer, otherwise known as a neck pinner, pushes skewers into the necks of suspended beef halves in order to pin flabby meat together after the head has been removed. The skewer may also roll the shrouded carcass with a handtool to give it a smooth appearance.

Sounds like a "redneck" thang.... don't it?
