History

Not to offend any of you history lovers out there, but I really think this quote is on the mark.

While Tolstoy's quote has a note of truth in it, where would we be without a written history? Remember the quote "the only fear we have for the future is tht we forget the past?" If we had no written history then those people that want us to believe that the holocost didn't exsist would have a valid starting point. Anyone could oput whatever spin on it that would serve their particular political, religious, manicical desires.

By the time I finish writing this, it will be history. We can't really write about the future cause we don't know whats going to happen. Every memory in your head is of the past... aka History. IMO History is one of the largest guiding factors in a persons life. You know... learn from your mistakes, well your mistakes are history.

Yes, but my point is that history lecturers never know when to stop.....they go on and on and on.......as you can tell - history was not a favorite subject of mine.

Hey Bri, you can write about the future, it's called prophecy.... now to be called a prophet it has to actually occur.
