"'It makes us question whether we are . . . praying together for Christian unity,' said the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, a fellowship of 75 million Protestants."

Question!?! I think the answer seems pretty clear.

Doesn't it seem odd that no one quoted in the news article seems to wonder how or why the pope has enough "power," if you will, do denounce other religions as true churches? I mean, I understand he's the head of the Vatican, but we aren't in the Dark Ages anymore.

No... but we will be soon. the reason why no one is wondering about the popes "power" is because he DOES have that much power.... Did anyone else notice the term that the pope used to describe the schism between the Anglican church and the RCC? It was "wound" they said that because the AC did not revere the pope as the head it was a wound against them. Wonder how long it will be before that "wound" is "healed?"

Interesting times ahead....
