So... did you get enough snow Brian? Looks like we got about 1/2 -1". Enough to make it pretty and close the schools. Oh well.... the kids will have fun playing in it.

We got about 5 inches. It's gorgeous up on the mountain!

They got the road plowed around 6:30, then we shoveled out and headed into work. I just got here a few minutes ago. It was a fun trip in, complete with having to stop and wipe the windshield with snow multiple times because the windshield washer fluid was frozen. Smile

The electric came on briefly right before 9. The oven clock was flashing 6:19, so I'm assuming that is about when the power went out (it seems to hold the time in memory). It stayed on for about 5 minutes and then went back off. It finally came on again at 2 this morning, went off for a few minutes at 4:30, and then was on again until we left. Hopefully it will be on when we get home too. Smile

We stayed cozy with the fireplace and a kerosene heater, flannels, blankets, and fuzzy socks. Sleepy

My parents power went out sometime Tuesday evening and was still out yesterday afternoon when I talked to her..... talk about the worst day of the year for it!! I'm sure they are really wanting that woodstove now! (They asked Gavin about 2 weeks ago if he would lay the stone for it.)

They were using their house generator to run some space heaters last time I checked.
